Crispy Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks with Mango Chutney Recipe

Deliciously spiced tandoori chicken with super-crispy skin and fruity, tangy mango chutney to go alongside.

  • Chicken 1 to 2 kg (with out skin, divided into 4 pieces)
  • Lemon Juice 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup / 200g
  • Butter /Ghee /Oil1/2 cup / 75g
  • Mehran Tandoori Masala

How to Make Tandoori Chicken 
  1. Apply deep cuts on each chicken piece.
  2. Add In yogurt with add 2-3 table spoon oil/ ghee/ butter, lemon juice and Mehran Tandoori Masala, mix well and apply on each chicken piece evenly. 
  3. Let marinate in the fridge at least 2 hours
  4. Put each piece on skewer and grill on low heat on coal/gas fire. Apply butter/ghee/oil on each side and turn the skewer to heat evenly, until meat becomes tender.
  5. Or Preheat oven to 180 Degree Centigrade, place the chicken in a tray. 
  6. Apply butter/ghee/oil on each side. Grill for 40-45 minutes, until meat becomes tender.
  7. Remove from heat when it turns light brown.

  • Fresh salad
  • Mint Chutney
  • Mango Chutney
Serve for 6-8 persons.
